Death by chocolate awarded Champion premium ice-cream for eighth time

From small beginnings in 1966, Serendipity Ice Cream remains an Australian family owned and operated business that has grown to be Australia’s most awarded ice-cream, winning well over 400 medals and 26 trophies. Most recently, the company was awarded Champion Trophy for ’Death by chocolate‘ Ice Cream at the 2015 Sydney Royal Cheese & Dairy Produce Show. The company also received six gold and 12 silver medals.

“Our products are made in small batches using artisan techniques and we use only the best natural ingredients,” Serendipity CEO Sarah Mandelson said.

The milk and cream used in the ice-cream comes fresh from the pastures of northern NSW, sugar comes from northern Queensland, freshly squeezed blood orange juice from Red Belly in Griffith, with as many premium ingredients as possible sourced from local growers and producers.
