Local shoppers across South Australia and Queensland will be able to use their DoorDash app to order groceries from independent grocery retailer Drakes Supermarkets. To celebrate the availability of Drakes in the DoorDash app, new customers of the local grocer will receive a 30% discount on orders over $50 (max discount $20) from 19 July.
With 46 Drakes stores live on the DoorDash platform in South Australia and Queensland, locals from these regions will now be able to order a range of fresh produce, bakery and deli items, pantry essentials and household items through the DoorDash app.
“Building on partnerships with Coles and IGA, as well as other local grocery heroes like Yuen’s Brisbane, this collaboration with Drakes marks a significant milestone for DoorDash,” according to the company. “Already serving over one million customers across Australia with grocery delivery, DoorDash is now positioned to give even more Aussies accessible and efficient shopping solutions.”
DoorDash Australia General Manager Puji Fernando says: “We’re thrilled to bring Drakes to DoorDash, offering our customers in South Australia and Queensland easy access to their favourite groceries. Say goodbye to long grocery lines and hello to saving time!”
Drakes Director John-Paul Drake says: “We are proud to partner with DoorDash to bring our last mile services to customers, making it more convenient to get groceries to their door whenever they need.”
