Driscoll’s limited-edition Sweetest Batch Blueberries have returned, now available exclusively at Woolworths stores nationwide. 
According to the brand, this seasonal offering is a standout in the berry market, celebrated for its “extraordinary” flavour.
Sweetest Batch Blueberries have been carefully selected for their “naturally larger size, intense sweetness, and satisfying crisp bite”. Grown in Coffs Harbour (NSW), Tolga (Queensland), and South Australia, these berries are said to meet the highest quality standards, ensuring an “unparalleled taste experience”.
“The Sweetest Batch Blueberries showcase our commitment to innovation in berry breeding,” says Driscoll’s Production Manager Tyler Scofield.
“What makes these berries truly special is the extensive care and attention to detail that goes into their production. Each berry is handpicked to ensure it’s at the peak of ripeness ready for consumers to enjoy.
“The Arana variety, which is the cornerstone of our Sweetest Batch, is not only known for its size and flavour but also for its ability to maintain a perfect balance of sweetness and juiciness even as it reaches larger sizes.”
Mr Scofield adds that the Arana variety is unique because it thrives in warm climates, allowing Driscoll’s to produce large, high-quality blueberries even in spring, when other non-Sweetest Batch blueberries are typically smaller.
“This variety has been specifically bred for its resilience and superior flavour profile, and we’re proud to offer something that’s not only delicious but also the result of years of dedicated breeding and natural selection,” he says.
