Against the backdrop of global technological headwinds, the field-service industry is moving at the speed of market evolution with plenty of growing potential, yet many in the sector are finding it difficult to keep up with ‘internet of things’ (IoT) and ‘mobility’ concepts while still maintaining the bottom line of business.
To help companies overcome the challenges of adapting, adopting and integrating technologies while addressing the perennial problem of achieving operational excellence and cost efficiency, global business-leadership institution Clariden Global is running the Field Service Management and Mobility Forum 2017 in December.
The event is described as an enterprise-wide gathering of operations-service managers, field-service executives, IT-delivery managers, and solution-delivery and technical specialists.
“This congregation of field-based professionals and forward-thinkers aims to bring together key stakeholders in the field-service ecosystem to co-create solutions to improve business operations and maximise service delivery safely, efficiently and cost-effectively,” a spokesperson said.
The forum is billed as featuring a unique showcase, with topics including drone deployment, miniature satellites, bring-your-own devices, process analytics, and lean and change management.
The spokesperson encouraged interested parties to “tap into the expertise of our panel of senior-level operations directors, seasoned field-service engineers, chief information officers and innovators on how to train and retrain an existing, as well as a new, service workforce, equipping and empowering them with the relevant and practical skill set needed to meet increasingly demanding delivery services without comprising on quality”.
“Join us and find the solutions you are looking for to future-proof your field service operation.”
