Foodland has again joined forces with South Australian Dairyfarmers Association inc (SADA) to bring the Foodland Dairy Sustainability Award to deliver on the Australian dairy industry’s promise to “provide nutritious food for a healthier world.”
In August 2023, Foodland partnered with the South Australian Dairyfarmers Association inc (SADA), to present the Foodland Dairy Sustainability Award, which was presented to a dairy farmer demonstrating excellence in four key areas: enhancing economic viability and livelihoods, reducing environmental impact, improving the wellbeing of people and providing the best care for their animals.
Mount Compass dairy farmer Warren Jacobs was named as the winner by Deputy Premier Susan Close who presented the award.
“The 2024 South Australian Dairy Awards provides an opportunity to celebrate the effort and contribution of dairy farmers and processors in SA who showcase their products in our markets, supermarket delis, cafes and restaurants. The Dairy Awards has been a premier event on the dairy industry calendar for more than 15 years,” the retailer said.
