New Zealand’s largest retail grocery organisation is joining forces with JDA Software Inc to improve its operations.
Foodstuffs North Island is partnering with JDA Software Inc to use JDA Transport Management across its business to “transport products efficiently and economically”.
The grocery organisation says having a common system and standard processes will help it optimise costs via route consolidation, load optimisation, and by adopting leading practices in logistics management.
“JDA is a valuable partner in our supply-chain transformation journey,” Acting Supply Chain General Manager for Foodstuffs North Island Gareth McFarlane said.
“With over 4000 deliveries per week, the JDA platform will enable us to improve efficiency and utilisation of time and space to deliver on our customer promise.”
JDA’s Vice President Sales Australia and New Zealand Stuart Rees added: “We’re very pleased to see the results delivered by JDA’s experts in technology, education, cloud and other areas together with Foodstuffs. We look forward to being part of Foodstuffs’ supply-chain journey.”
