Health and wellness retailer Healthy Life has opened a “store-in-store” at Sans Souci’s Supabarn in NSW.
Healthy Life says its new store aims to “revolutionise the way health-conscious locals do their weekly shop”. It launched as a dedicated health and wellness section inside the Supabarn earlier this month.
The store-in-store offers a range of natural, organic, Fair Trade and eco-friendly goods. These include Hemple’s hemp seeds and hemp oil, ethical “no-nasty” nail-polish brand Kester Black, and Locako’s grass-fed Australian collagen snacks.
In response to demand for chemical-free makeup and skin care, the store-in-store also offers natural beauty brands including Luk Beautifood, Neal’s Yard Remedies and Inika Organic.
Healthy Life says that because natural health is an area that can require some guidance, qualified health-practitioner staff – such as nutritionists, dietitians and naturopaths – will be on hand to give customers free health advice while they do their grocery shopping.
Chief Marketing Officer Simon Cheng said, “Many stores are currently in convenient locations close to major supermarkets. This store-in-store concept takes this convenience one step further.
“Whether they’re after natural sunscreen, eco washing powder, toxin-free makeup, paleo snacks or gluten-free food products, Sans Souci locals can now find it in their Supabarn. We’re thrilled to be able to offer this one-stop-shop convenience for time-poor health-conscious customers.
“We want to make it easier, more affordable and more convenient for all Australians to live a healthier life. So that’s why we combine our unrivalled range of health and wellness products with free expert advice.”
The retailer has more than 45 stores across Australia. It says it will continue to open new stores and refurbish existing ones, all with the aim of “bringing the traditional health-food store into the modern era”.
The Sans Souci outlet is the fourth new Healthy Life store to open since September. It is the retailer’s second outlet inside an independent supermarket, with Wentworth Point IGA also hosting a Healthy Life store.
