IGA Supplier of the Year Award winners revealed

IGA has announced the winners of its coveted Supplier of the Year (SOTY) Awards. The ceremony took place last night at The Star in Sydney.

The company says it judges nominated suppliers and winners on criteria including sales, support and innovation, promotions and field teams.

“These suppliers are supportive of our channel and understand the benefits of having a strong independent network,” an IGA spokesperson said.

“These awards recognise those companies and people that work for them for helping to support independents in Australia.

“We would especially like to thank everyone who has embraced our network, and truly helped to lift our retailers’ sales and execution.”

Charity partners

According to IGA, SOTY helps it support some of its charitable partners, including long-term partners Special Olympics and the McGrath Foundation, as well as the Humpty Dumpty Foundation.

“Metcash, IGA and our suppliers are proud to be associated with each of these groups,” the spokesperson added.
