The SIAL China 2016 exhibition will feature nearly 3,000 exhibitors from 67 countries and an expected 66,000 visitors.
To be held on May 5-7 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, SIAL China is the largest professional food and beverage exhibition ever staged in Asia.
SIAL offers the opportunity to look deeper into food sectors, discuss the future of food and exchange worldwide best practices to solve food business issues.
SIAL China also aims to allow visitors to gain a deeper understanding of food and beverages across China in the broad categories of food, meat, dairy and wine.
The exhibition will feature 61 overseas pavilions, including those from Poland, South Korea, Taiwan, the US, Brazil and Australia.
The Australian pavilion, organised by Food SA CEO Catherine Sayer, has grown exponentially in size since its debut at last year’s event. The pavilion will push to gain market share in China through the presence of Australian food and beverage exporters. Meat & Livestock Australia will also exhibit with a collection of Australia’s meat exporters.
