Latina Fresh has signed on as the Women’s National Basketball League’s (WNBL) major partner for the 24/25 season.
The partnership was announced earlier in the week at the official Cygnett WNBL launch in Melbourne.
“We’ve had an incredible range of support from our partnership group, and it was amazing to have Latina Fresh at the WNBL’s official season launch to unveil our Major Partnership as part of the ceremonies,” says WNBL Head Christy Collier-Hill.
“The energy and excitement for this season is real and we couldn’t be happier with the addition of Latina Fresh as a partner that shares the same vision and goals as the WNBL and its athletes.”
Latina Fresh is promoted as a “perfect fit” for the WNBL with its mission of offering “delicious, convenient and reliable” weeknight meal options that are “paramount in an athlete’s development”.
“We are thrilled to be a major partner of the WNBL and to support women’s sport at the elite level in Australia,” says General Mills ANZ Marketing Director Surini Perera.
“The WNBL athletes are fantastic role models for leading healthy and active lives. Through this partnership, we are continuing to support women in sport and living our values being certified as a top 50 Best Workplace for Women in Australia.”
The partnership will see Latina Fresh displayed across WNBL game day and digital touchpoints with a content series to come.
