Little Creatures latest summer seasonal beer will hit bottle shop shelves at the beginning of October.
Dog Days Summer Beer has been specially crafted with the warmer weather in mind, in stark contrast to Little Creatures’ first seasonal release for winter, the dark Return of the Dread.
Head brewer Russell Gosling says seasonal release beers are now a permanent fixture on the Creatures calendar, with the new brew the perfect summer refresher.
“It’s a fine summer beer – crisp, clean, refreshing and hoppy,” he said. “The beer pours a straw yellow colour with a rocky white head and tropical hop aromas waft thickly out of the glass. The bright, peachy, juicy fruit hop flavours marry nicely with the wheat malt. In terms of bitterness, its firm, but not so intense that it overwhelms the light wheat character.”
Little Creatures Dog Days Summer will be released in October for a limited time over summer or until stock runs out.
It has an RRP of $21 per six-pack.
The next Little Creatures seasonal release is slated for winter 2016.
