Beverage manufacturer Made says it’s disrupting the white milk category with the launch of ReMilk.
Promoted as an Australian first, ReMilk is “nothing but 100% fresh Aussie milk, with the delicious taste and consistency of regular milk, but with only half the sugar and more protein”.
“The milk category remains a habitual purchase for many, with Aussies consuming an impressive average of 75 litres of milk each year,” says Made. “However, many consumers are not aware of how much naturally occurring sugar is in milk.”
With ReMilk’s “Australian first” patent-pending cold filtration technology, locally sourced milk is filtered to re-balance protein and the naturally occurring sugar in milk, keeping the “good stuff” in. By making the switch from regular milk to ReMilk, Made says Australians can remove up to 1.7kg of sugar from their diet every year.
ReMilk is also a lactose-free alternative making it easier to digest.
Beyond the milk, ReMilk is also taking an innovative approach to packaging, with 100% renewable and fully recyclable packaging made of completely plant-based raw materials.
“We are excited to be launching ReMilk to the Australian market,” says Made co-founder and joint CEO Luke Marget.
“With Aussies seeking healthier alternatives and simple swaps to remove sugar from their diets, we saw an opportunity in the white milk category that wasn’t tapped into.
“Together with our 100% renewable carton, ReMilk will revolutionise the way Aussies consume milk that is better for their health and the environment.”
ReMilk (RRP $3.20) is available in a 1lt bottle in both full cream and light options at Woolworths and select independent retailers across Australia.
