National Restaurant Conference
28 June, 9am-4pm
The National Restaurant Conference gives you the opportunity to hear from industry leaders and experts on how to improve your business. It is a full day of ideas, inspiration, and practical advice to enhance your menu, marketing, staffing and bottom line. Come along to stay up to date with new ideas and trends.

The Sweet Spot
27-29 June, 10am-5pm
The latest trends in bakery and desserts will take centre stage at The Sweet Spot, right at the entrance to Foodservice Australia. Hosted by Nerida Conway this exciting demonstration stage will showcase chocolate, confectionery, gelato, and patisserie, with free hourly presentations aimed at bakers, pâtissiers, and chefs looking to sweeten up their menu.
Café School
27-29 June, 10am-5pm
Café, sandwich bar, takeaway and deli operators can learn how to make the most of the boom in the daytime dining and food-to-go sectors at the Café School.
This year the Café school will feature coffee masterclasses, café menu ideas, and the latest lunch and breakfast trends.
Visitors can also stay ahead of the flavour curve with free demonstrations and seminars to help cafés and takeaways expand their menu and boost their bottom line. You can hear the speakers and try out the new products.
Plant Base

The latest food trend taking over our social media feeds and plates is launching at Foodservice Australia in 2021. Plant Base is a dedicated feature aimed at businesses who want to promote animal-free and vegan dining alternatives. This exciting new pavilion has been created to meet industry and consumer demand for this growing market.
Chef of the Year

Who is Australia’s best professional chef?
The Chef of the Year competition sees chef compete against chef and the clock in a test of creativity, culinary knowledge and ingenuity.
The Chef of the Year competition gives chefs a chance to showcase their skills, promote their restaurants, network with fellow professionals, and win a share of $10,000 cash and prizes.
This annual competition attracts entries from professional chefs from around Australia. There is a strict set of criteria, and a team of culinary experts to judge the winner. It is the most highly regarded and competitive professional chef event in the country.
The competition will be held in 2021 at Foodservice Australia in Melbourne. If you want to be a part of this exciting event, entries close 5pm on 1 June 2021.

Specialty Producers Pavilion

The Specialty Producers Pavilion is an exciting feature located within the Foodservice Australia exhibition. It showcases boutique food, drink, and ingredient suppliers from all over Australia.

Aged Care Catering Summit

Chef Success Workshop

The Chef Success Workshop is a brand-new program launching at the Foodservice Australia show next June.
It will be a half-day program run by chefs for chefs. Hosted by Venessa Barnes, this is the opportunity for young chefs to connect with like-minded individuals and learn from industry leaders.
