Essentials on Frugl’s list include:
- Turkey breast
- Half leg ham
- Pudding
- Mince pies
- Ice cream
- Thickened cream
- Crackers/biscuits
- Puff pastry
- Christmas wrapping paper
- Napkins.
Consumers can see the best prices via the Frugl app and can choose to shop at any of the supermarkets, e.g. finding the best deals at either Coles or Woolworths to make even bigger savings.
“As we head into the festive season, we know it can be a costly time of the year for everyone, in particular for families,” says Frugl Managing Director and CEO Sean Smith. “Frugl’s focus is to help Australian grocery shoppers make significant savings at the checkout – we understand how a quick trip to the supermarket can add up!
“We encourage Australians to head into the shops early this year and stock up particularly on non-perishable items when they are on sale, to make the most of the best deals and to be organised for a delicious festive celebration.”
To make the festive grocery shop simple for consumers, Frugl’s app has Feature Lists created in the app comparing the weekly prices between Coles and Woolworths. Consumers can view these in the app (Coles and Woolworths) and also create their own personalised lists in the Frugl app.
