David Jones, H&M and UNIQLO have opened their doors to shoppers at Pacific Fair on the Gold Coast, marking the start of the final stage of a $670 million redevelopment.
David Jones ambassador Jesinta Campbell and AMP Capital Shopping Centres Managing Director Bryan Hynes were on-site for the opening of the retailers and an additional 20 specialty stores. Once renovations are completed, Pacific Fair will be the biggest shopping centre in Queensland.
“When the opening of Pacific Fair is complete in mid-2016, the centre will have an unparalleled retail mix with a combination of international high-street stores, iconic global, luxury brands, and leading Australian fashion, leisure and lifestyle designers,” Mr Hynes said.
To celebrate the opening, Pacific Fair will host champagne bars in-centre, and present live music, artists, special promotions and VIP fashion events in the coming weeks.
