Roll’d extends pantry range

Having rolled out it’s first line of Vietnamese pantry items and condiments last year, QSR success Roll’d Vietnamese is expanding its range with traditional heat-and-eat phở broths, rice noodles, sriracha sauce and chilli oil.

“In the past 12 months, the Roll’d Vietnamese FMCG total range has generated over $3 million RSV [retail sales value], instrumental to business growth and revenue security for our franchisees,” says Roll’d Vietnamese founder and CEO Bao Hoang.

“The expansion of Roll’d’s FMCG range marks a monumental milestone for our first steps into grocery channels – especially as the customer appeal in the Asian (Vietnamese) scratch ingredients category continues to grow year on year.”

Coles data suggests customer appeal in the Asian scratch ingredients category continues to grow year on year (nearly 10% growth in demand for Asian foods at Coles), while internal Roll’d data suggests a prompted 50% increase in brand awareness nationally.

Available in Chicken & Beef and Veggie, Roll’d’s new heat-and serve Phở Broth (RRP $6.50, 500mL) are ready in just 15 minutes and said to deliver a “world of hearty goodness”.

Roll’d Phở Noodles (RRP$5, 400g) are a no-nasties mix of rice, tapioca starch and water, designed to be added to the Phở Broth.

Roll’d’s Sweet Viet Sriracha Sauce (RRP $6, 375mL) and Premium Chilli Oil (RRP $8.50, 220g) deliver a punchy hit of chilli to compliment the phở.
