Solar D claims to be a world first sunscreen, offering maximum sun protection with SPF30+ and SPF50+ products, while allowing a percentage of the sun’s vitamin D-forming wavelengths through to the skin.
“We have developed a sunscreen that not only screens the harmful melanoma-causing UV rays and fights the ageing process, but, more importantly, we have also created a formula that permits the particular UVB rays through, and as such allows your body to naturally produce vitamin D,” Solar D Managing Director Mathew Collett said.
The Australian-owned sunscreen is oil- and fragrance-free and available in SPF50+ Daily Use and SPF30+ Active and Kids variants, which are water-resistant for up to two hours.
