The Arnott’s Group has launched a new graduate program to grow local talent and inspire future leaders. It is expected to help graduates develop, build networks and make a real impact.
According to The Arnott’s Group, thousands of graduates from across Australia and New Zealand applied for the positions. Twenty-two graduates were eventually inducted into the inaugural program in Sydney.
The majority of graduates will be based in the headquarters at North Strathfield. Some will work across manufacturing sites at Huntingwood in Western Sydney, Virginia in Queensland, Shepparton in Victoria and Auckland, New Zealand.
The newly created program is a part of The Arnott’s Group’s “ambitious growth” strategy, which requires “significant investment” in local talent and capability. The program has been designed to provide recent graduates with a breadth of experience from across The Arnott’s Group business, helping to attract top talent to a future career with the Australian business.
The Arnott’s Group CEO George Zoghbi says the company is delighted about the calibre of the talent it was able to attract.
“We are excited about nurturing new talents and providing them with valuable experience working with some of Australia’s most iconic brands,” he says.
Maggie Pan, one of the 22 graduates, says she chose the Arnott’s Group graduate program because she really wanted to work for an organisation that was future focused.
“In 2020, Arnott’s changed ownership, and with that, the strategic focus of the business also changed. Expansion and innovation were highlighted as key changes,” she says. “This really excited me, as I knew that I wanted to work for an organisation that proactive in change and constantly evolving.
“I’m excited to see the concepts and ideas I’ve learnt in university being applied in a real-life business environment. I’m also excited to join a cohort of graduates, who will all be taking this exciting journey along with me.”
