Toscano has introduced an “authentic” new wood-fired, gluten-free pizza base to the Australian market.
Toscano says its Authentic Italian Gluten Free Pizza Base, released to coincide with Coeliac Week in mid-March, has been carefully crafted to match the same elasticity, aroma and depth of flavour that Neapolitan pizza is famous for, with no flavour additives or artificial raisers.
The base is cooked in a Vastola oven, which uses volcanic stones to replicate the breadth of heat and smoky flavour produced in a traditional Neapolitan wood-fired pizza oven.
Toscano’s Gluten Free Pizza Bases are available at Coles and Woolworths stores nationally.
