Period care brand U by Kotex has made the single largest-value donation in its history, contributing $1 million worth of products to help combat period poverty across the country.
As part of its ongoing partnership with Share the Dignity, U by Kotex has just donated over 40,000 packs of reusable underwear to close out the charity’s latest Dignity Drive. The brand has given nearly 1 million products to Share the Dignity over the past six years, as part of their joint effort to address period poverty.
The partnership has also seen them work on advocacy and educational support, as well as the development of bespoke period care packs rolled out across Share the Dignity’s vending machines in Queensland schools and community spaces.

Share the Dignity founder and Managing Director Rochelle Courtenay says the donation of 40,000 packs of period underwear, which will be filtered through to domestic violence services nationwide, is the charity’s which is our most valuable donation to date.
“Our 2024 Bloody Big Survey found 43% of menstruators are using period underwear, but for those struggling, they can come at a high cost. Which is why I am thrilled by U By Kotex’s donation, as it allows us to ensure those fleeing domestic violence can continue to manage their period with dignity,” Ms Courtenay said.
