Whittaker’s, renowned for its commitment to crafting premium chocolate, has launched Hazella chocolate block featuring Whittaker’s classic 33% cocoa Cream Milk chocolate, filled with a silky-smooth hazelnut gianduja centre.
The “cult-favourite” Block, Hazella is back this year, this time available at Coles and Woolworths nationally, bringing a touch of indulgence to the chocolate aisle, and allowing more Australians access to this delicious block.
“We are thrilled to bring Hazella to more Chocolate Lovers across Australia through our partnership with Coles and Woolworths,” says Whittaker’s Chief Marketing Officer Soraya Cottin. “After launching a small release in 2023, we saw the incredible uptake and our Chocolate Lovers asked for us to bring it back – and so we did.
“Hazella represents the culmination of our dedication to crafting chocolates of the highest quality, and we’re confident that it will become a beloved favourite among consumers. With the harmonious balance between the delicious gianduja filling and generous Whittaker’s classic Creamy Milk chocolate shell, Hazella is so smooth, you could almost spread it.”
Whittaker’s silky-smooth hazelnut gianduja is unique as it has been created using state-of-the-art technology, which perfectly blends the ingredients so that palm oil is not required to stabilise the gianduja filling as is commonly the case. This also ensures a smooth filling with a high percentage of ground hazelnut and chocolate.
“Whittaker’s entire chocolate range is proudly palm oil-free, and Hazella is not only true to this commitment but is also absolutely delicious and incredibly moreish. We know Whittaker’s Chocolate Lovers love it, and we’re thrilled we could bring this block to more retailers this year,” Ms Cottin said.
Like all Whittaker’s chocolate, Whittaker’s Hazella is made from beans-to-bar at its single factory in Porirua. It is also Rainforest Alliance Certified™, as is Whittaker’s entire range of products that are crafted with Ghanaian cocoa beans.
Hazella is available at Coles and Woolworths nationally for $8.
