Woolworths has teamed up with Cadbury to launch the Rum & Raisin Indulgent Hot Cross Bun, featuring the “distinctively rich, smooth taste” of Cadbury Old Gold dark chocolate.
“Together with Cadbury, we’re bringing even more indulgent flavours to the table this Easter, and our research shows that more than half (53%) of Aussies are looking for indulgent hot cross buns,” says Woolworths Commercial Director Bakery Jason McQuaid.
“It’s a taste combination like no other and we think our customers who are looking to treat themselves with a bolder flavour profile are going to enjoy this delicious new hot cross bun.”
Available in a four pack for $4.50, the limited-edition Rum & Raisin Indulgent Hot Cross Buns are made with “real” Cadbury Old Gold dark chocolate. They include locally sourced ingredients like Australian rum-soaked raisins.
