Woolworths is launching a free pop-up restaurant this month to showcase its “great value” Own Brand.
Woolworths tables will serve diners a range of dishes each evening, showing guests how they can create restaurant-quality meals with everyday ingredients that they can pick up at Woolworths.
The menu has been designed by Australian cook and TV personality Hayden Quinn using only Woolworths Own Brand products, including signature items from Woolworths’ COOK range.
“I started my career as a home cook, so I am really excited about the opportunity to show how simple, great value everyday ingredients and products you pick up at the supermarket can be turned into something truly amazing,” says Hayden Quinn.
“Woolies has some incredible products for those who are just starting out in the kitchen, that are super tasty and easy to make. For those with a bit more experience, there’s also everything you need to create something special at home.”
Woolworths Own Brand
Developed by the Woolworths Food Company, the Woolworths Own Brand food range is said to include thousands of high quality products that cost less than 30 per cent less on average compared to similar brands.
The range includes:
- The COOK range of proteins, vegetables and meal kits, like the Woolworths COOK Slow Cooked Beef Cheeks in Red Wine sauce, to make cooking easy;
- Entertaining ranges, like the award-winning Thomas Dux Brie and Thomas Dux Salami with Blue Cheese; and
- Customer favourites and pantry staples, like the Woolworths 35 Hour Sourdough or Woolworths Greek Style Yoghurt made with an authentic Greek live culture.
“We’re really passionate about our food, and there’s an amazing team of chefs and product developers who spend years developing recipes and refining and testing our products to make sure they are the absolute best quality and value for our customers,” says Louis Eggar, Managing Director of Woolworths Food Company.
“Woolworths Table is an opportunity to show how far Own Brand products have come in terms of quality and flavour, and how these ingredients can come together to create delicious, restaurant-quality meals that are amazing value for the family at home.”
