The upgrading of the District Centre in Brisbane’s Yarrabilba area has begun and will include a 3,200sqm Coles, a McDonald’s and a Family Medical Centre.
“It is part of an investment by Coles of more than $30 million in the Logan Council over the past two years, which is testament to the confidence we have in the future of the region,” Coles State General Manager Queensland Paul Bradshaw said.
It is estimated that more than 800 equivalent full-time jobs will be created when the various developments are completed later this year.
Priced from $270,000, the commercial and mixed unit sites range from 819 to 1,243sqm. Yarrabilba’s existing District Centre includes an IGA-anchored convenience centre, 24-hour Caltex service station and Star Mart, cafes and a medical centre.
