WHAT’S NEW DRESSING FOR ‘VIBRANT’ VERSATILITY Birch & Waite has introduced Golden Goddess Dressing. The manufacturer promotes the dressing as a “vibrant, flavoursome, delicious fusion” of tahini and turmeric, “expertly crafted” with “zesty” lemon, garlic and herbs. It adds that the uses of the “versatile” product can include drizzling it over a mixed salad, and as a sauce for stirring through roasted vegetables and chicken, beef, fish or tofu. The Golden Goddess Dressing is claimed to be vegan and gluten free with no artificial ingredients or added preservatives. Retailing for $5, the 250ml product is currently available nationally in Woolworths, next to the fresh salads. ‘GAME LIFTING’ DRINKS FROM MAXIMUS Maximus has introduced two new sports drinks targeted at gamers. According to the brand, the gaming industry is taking the world by storm, which has presented a “great opportunity” to create two new flavours to help gamers of all types get their “game on”. The new Maximus range is available in Blackcurrant and Lime variants. Both are claimed to be “packed” with magnesium and B vitamins to reduce tiredness and fatigue. They are also said to contain 18 per cent less sugar than the original Maximus sports drink. AUSTRALIAN LAUNCH OF M&M’S PRETZEL Mars Wrigley Australia says its investment of more than $300,000 to bring new technologies to its chocolate factory in Ballarat, Victoria has enabled the company to produce M&M’S Pretzel locally, bringing the “salty and sweet treat” to Australia for the first time. “We’re thrilled to be introducing a new variant into our bite-size portfolio with our locally produced M&M’S Pretzel for chocolate lovers in Australia to enjoy,” Mars Wrigley Australia General Manager Andrew Leakey said. Additionally, the latest investment expands the capability for the Ballarat factory to create filled M&M’S and explore more Australian-made innovations for the brand. ARNOTT’S ADDS TO DESSERT-INSPIRED RANGE Arnott’s has released two new extensions to its dessert-inspired biscuit range. Monte Carlo Black Forest combines two “classic indulgences” with the Monte Carlo biscuit and black forest cake. Two chocolate-flavoured biscuits surround an “elegant” piping of vanilla cream and sweet raspberry coating, combined to make one “delicious creation”. Shortbread Cream Tiramisu is a “reimagined” Shortbread Cream biscuit with flavours from tiramisu. Two chocolate-infused shortbread biscuits are filled with cocoa and roast coffee cream for two “decadent flavours united into one delicious experience”.
