Australian egg producer, Sunny Queen Farms, is encouraging Australians to swap some chocolate eggs for fresh eggs this Easter, as part of its ‘Great Australian Egg Swap’ campaign.
“Instead of just eating chocolate eggs this year, Sunny Queen wants us to get creative in the kitchen using fresh and delicious Sunny Queen Farms smiley faced eggs in recipes, arts and crafts and has enlisted a famous face to help the cause,” according to the company.
Sunny Queen Farms has partnered with new dad of two and fitness expert Tim Robards to promote the ‘Great Australian Easter Egg Swap’ campaign with some delicious healthy and nutritious recipe ideas.
Having just celebrated the birth of his second child, baby Ruby, who joins big sister Elle and wife Anna completing their family of four, Tim doesn’t want Aussie’s missing out on sweet treats this Easter, but instead wants to inspire people to take the time to create memories during this festive period, whilst understanding what they are putting into their bodies.
“My daughter Elle and our family love Easter now she’s old enough to enjoy it, but often it is a time of overindulgence and waste. This Easter we are still going on an Easter Egg hunt – but we will be swapping out and adding some real, colourful and delicious eggs into the mix. Egg shells are a great canvas for kids to get creative on! And then you can use them on your hunt!” says Mr Robards.
From carrot cake to an Easter salad topped with a seasonal twist, Sunny Queen Farms has recipes and activities that will entertain the young and young at heart this Easter all incorporating delicious, fresh, Australian laid Sunny Queen Farms smiley eggs.
The range of free, easy to follow Easter recipes and activities are available to download from its website and include DIY egg dye, egg carton arts, crafts and colouring in. There will be much more than just chocolate on the table this Easter.
