The humble Chiko Roll has claimed the throne as the country’s most loved snack earning a perfect 100 popularity score.
Pack & Send, an Australian courier service that ships thousands of native ‘care packages’ to consumers annually, used search volume data to identify the Aussie snacks people are most curious about. Iconic Aussie treats such as Tim Tams, lamingtons, Shapes, Cheezels and more, were analysed and allocated a unique weighted score ranking to reveal the ultimate snacks.
“Australian snacks” amass over 10,700 global monthly searches and a staggering 49,700 monthly global searches for ‘Tim Tam’ alone. It seems like curiosity for the country’s most loved snacks is on the rise, expanding beyond the borders with people around the world eager to get their hands on beloved Aussie treats.
