ALDI will open another store in Townsville, Queensland tomorrow morning (29 October).
Marking the second store in the Townsville area, the 1100 sqm ALDI Burdell will feature a range of innovations, including self-serve check-outs, modern interior design and simple store layout so “customers can easily navigate the savings on offer”.
“The response from Townsville locals has been incredible, and we know many have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of our second ALDI store in Burdell,” says ALDI Australia Regional Managing Director Tremaine Spillane.
“We are so excited to meet this growing community demand, offering more families the chance to enjoy our award-winning products at prices that help stretch the weekly shop further.
“Now more than ever it’s important that Aussies have access to affordable groceries so it’s truly a pleasure for us to be able to reach even more people within the Townsville region with our ‘Good Different’ shopping experience.”
ALDI Burdell has created 20 to 25 new full-time and part-time jobs.
