ALDI’s annual Camp Quality Special Buys range is returning later this month.
From 19 September, proceeds from the sale of each “bright and bold” product in the Special Buys range will go straight to Camp Quality.
Camp Quality CEO Deborah Thomas says a cancer diagnosis can disrupt every part of family life, which is why opportunities to reconnect, make happy memories and being together as a family are so important.
“ALDI’s ongoing partnership with Camp Quality has had a meaningful impact on children and families facing cancer, helping us continue to provide moments of fun, connection and support when they’re needed most,” she says.
“We’re so pleased to see the Camp Quality Special Buys range return this September, giving customers another simple way to make a difference. Thank you to ALDI, and its customers, for continuing to stand alongside kids and families impacted by cancer.”
This year’s collection

The “ever-popular” unisex and reversable bucket hats ($7.99) are back for a sixth year, with other returning “faves” including the Double Wall Stainless Steel Drink Bottles 500ml ($9.99), Children’s Foldable Sunglasses ($7.99), Children’s Sandals ($5.99) and Children’s Socks 5pk ($5.99).
New to this year’s collection is the Sports Ball ($6.99), which includes colourful and patterned Mini Basketballs, Mini Soccer Balls and a set of Bounce Balls 3pk.
ALDI’s efforts
Since ALDI launched its partnership with Camp Quality in May 2020, the retailer along with its employees, business partners and customers have donated more than $10 million to Camp Quality, enabling over 12,000 kids facing cancer to attend a Camp Quality recreational program.
ALDI Australia Director of National Sustainability Daniel Baker says the retailer is incredibly grateful to its customers, employees and business partners for helping raise more than $10 million for Camp Quality over the past six years.
“With eight fun products from reversible bucket hats, foldable glasses and sandals, there’s something to make every child smile,” he says.
“Each year, Australians continue to get behind this partnership, helping bring joy, laughter and positivity to children facing cancer and their families…”
Throughout September, ALDI will match all customer and employee donations made to Camp Quality, whether at the register or online, up to a total value of $100,000.
