Montague Farms’ Ambrosia apple is now in season, returning to shelves across the country.

Promoted as a standout in the fruit grower’s premium range, Ambrosia apples are said to be known for their “exceptional aroma, delicate honey notes and melt-in-your-mouth texture”. Naturally bi-colour, the apple’s blushed red skin is tinged with yellow. 

Growers anticipate up to 1.3 million kilograms of Ambrosia to be handpicked across growing regions this season, which include the Yarra Valley (Victoria), Batlow (NSW), the Adelaide Hills (South Australia), Stanthorpe (Queensland), and Tamar and Huon Valley (Tasmania).
