Australia’s top retailers, retail teams and industry leaders have been recognised at the 2026 ARC Retail Awards, celebrating excellence across one of the nation’s most dynamic and competitive sectors.
Hosted by the Australian Retail Council (ARC) and supported by American Express, the awards mark the return of the industry’s premier event for the first time under the ARC banner following the amalgamation of the Australian Retailers Association and National Retail Association.
Australian Retail Council CEO Chris Rodwell said the awards showcase the strength, innovation and leadership across Australia’s $444 billion retail sector.
“These awards are all about backing the retailers that back Australia. We’re recognising the people, teams and businesses that are setting the benchmark for excellence in Australian retail,” he said.
“The return of the Retail Awards under the Australian Retail Council banner is a wonderful moment for the industry and an important opportunity to celebrate the people and businesses driving retail.”
American Express Vice President of Merchant Partnerships for Australia and New Zealand, Liana Kohn-Gardner said the awards recognise the businesses and people helping shape the future of Australian retail.
