Zenith Payments has launched B2Bpay – a new payment solution that it says can assist retail SMEs with common problems such as cashflow and payment collections while rewarding them for making payments early.
B2Bpay is promoted as offering retail business owners a secure online portal where they can monitor cashflow and productivity while earning Qantas frequent-flyer points. The online-payment solution works with all billers, including those that don’t accept credit cards, and lets retailers offer online payments via its own branded B2Bpay solution, so customers can pay online or via credit card without the SME needing a merchant facility.
Under the partnership with Qantas Business Rewards, B2Bpay users can earn Qantas points on all expenses paid – with one Qantas point for every $100 paid and up to three Qantas points for every $1.50 paid to B2Bpay ‘bonus billers’. To celebrate the launch, Qantas Business Rewards members who sign up to B2Bpay and spend $10,000 or more by May 31 will also earn 10,000 bonus Qantas points.
“We know from talking to SMEs what their problems are and have designed B2Bpay from the ground up to solve those problems,” Zenith Payments General Manager Kevin Butler said.
“B2Bpay is an innovative single-portal solution where SMEs can pay all their business expenses (including tax) by credit card, whether or not the biller actually accepts credit cards. It boosts cashflow and turbocharges reward points – in fact, if they’re paying a bonus biller, the SME can effectively triple their points.”
Mr Butler notes that while the Qantas reward points are a great way for users to feel rewarded, B2Bpay’s biggest attraction is the significant promotion and easy implementation of the payment solution.
“We’re already meeting our aggressive rollout targets and expect B2Bpay to become a routine payment option right across the board,” he said.
