Simply Nuts has revealed its new look and brand refresh to support its “great tasting” natural peanut butter. The brand’s latest packaging is manufactured at Bega’s peanut butter factory in Port Melbourne and is now available on supermarket shelves across the country.
“Simply Nuts is a serious player in the natural peanut butter category, and it wants peanut butter lovers to know this. Simply Nuts is the second most loved natural peanut butter by Aussies[1], and its journey to becoming number one is getting bolstered with its new design,” according to the brand.
Bega approached design agency Bulletproof to redesign the packaging for its Simply Nuts natural peanut butter.
Bulletproof Creative Director Matty Johnson says, “We were delighted to work with Bega to revitalise the Simply Nuts brand. It’s a dream brief when the truth of the product is so compelling; a natural peanut butter made with peanuts that are harvested right here in Australia. The new brand and packaging brings this truth to life in an honest, down to earth, simply nutty way.”
The label refresh welcomes the addition of the 5-star Health Star Rating, making it easier for consumers to identify nutritious food products. It also features a nod to Aussie peanut farmers who supply Simply Nuts, with its peanut farmer characters on pack.
Coinciding with its refreshed label design, Simply Nuts is launching a new communications platform ‘Good Nutty’ to highlight that Simply Nuts is committed to being good tasting, good for Australians and good for Australia.

We’re thrilled its newly designed packaging communicates this with its enticing visual cues,” says Bega Group Marketing Manager of Spreads Jess Hoare.
Simply Nuts proudly sources 100% of its peanuts from the Bega Group subsidiary, Peanut Company of Australia Pty Ltd. This year marks 99 years of operation for the business, who have been supplying Australian grown peanuts from Kingaroy, Queensland and surrounds since 1924.
The new Simply Nuts packaging is available now Coles, Woolworths and Independent Grocers.
