Bickford’s Flavoured Syrups range aims to allow Australians to recreate barista-style coffee at home.
“Our premium syrups will help coffee drinkers to recreate an indulgent, barista-made coffee in their own home,” Bickford’s Marketing Manager Chris Illman said, adding that there was a strong desire for the new Salted Caramel, Roasted Hazelnut and Dark Chocolate syrups.
Research from Roy Morgan shows that 38 per cent of Australians regularly buy fresh coffee to brew at home, and more than one in three homes now have a coffee-making machine.
“These syrups are much more than just flavours for coffee, though” Mr Illman said. “People can add milk to create the ultimate adult milkshake or drizzle over ice-cream for a luxurious dessert.”
The new range of syrups will be sold at Coles, IGA, Foodland and other supermarkets, cafés and restaurants around the country from next month. The 550ml PET bottle will have an RRP of $6.79.
