Blue Moon’s award-winning seasonal beer, Summer Honey Wheat, is available for the first time in Australia.
Originally launched in the US in 1995 as the first summer seasonal from Blue Moon, Summer Honey Wheat is a filtered wheat ale with an ABV of 5.2 per cent and subtle flavours of orange blossom, honey and orange peel.
It won a gold medal in 2006 under the name Blue Moon Honeymoon at the Great American Beer Festival (GABF) in the Specialty Honey Lager or Ale category, winning gold in the same category the following year under the name Honeymoon Summer Ale, as well as scooping its third gold at GABF in 2010 under its current name.
Blue Moon Summer Honey Wheat is now available in packaged format from Vintage Cellars and selected independent off-premise retailers, and in Dan Murphy’s from mid-February.
