Brita, a leader in water filtration, is introducing a new line of water filter bottles to provide consumers with fresh, filtered water on the go, so consumers don’t have to buy bottled water every time they are thirsty.
Brita fill&go Active water filter bottles utilise a MicroDisc filter to reduce chlorine and other taste-impairing substances, while retaining valuable minerals. The company says that these replaceable filters, made of compressed activated carbon constructed from coconut shells, ensure fresh, filtered water each time.
The brand says that it is aiming to take the credibility it has built with its in-home water filtration products and apply it out of the house, by providing an option for those living active lifestyles.
“With the vision to urge people to think about their everyday drinking water, Brita provides a smart, economical and sustainable solution for always having filtered drinking water both in and out of home,” Brita Senior Product Manager Karen Martin said. “The Brita Active bottle can be easily transported in a bag and is the perfect hydration solution for everyday use.”
The nationwide launch will be supported by up to $1.5 million in media support, including digital, social and outdoor spend, over the next 12 months.
The 600ml Brita fill&go Active bottle has an RRP of $14.95.
