Costco has unveiled its new Fuel Station at 46 Railway Road, Coomera in Queensland on 23 May. Costco also announced the warehouse opening, located at 47 Creek Road, Coomera on 22 June, 2023.
The fuel station is open from 6am to 7:30pm on Saturdays and 7am to 7pm on Sundays. There are 28 fueling positions available including two ultra high flow pumps, with ULP E10 94, premium 98 and diesel fuel available.
“The Fuel Station is set to provide members with exceptional savings at the pump,” says Managing Director of Costco Australia, Patrick Noone.
To ensure efficient refuelling, Costco Fuel Stations are fitted with extra long hoses so members can fill up from either side of their vehicle, and pumps are fitted with vapour recovery systems that lessen the escape of fuel vapours. Bowsers feature the latest pay-at-the-pump technology, giving members a seamless and convenient refuelling experience. Certified Costco fuel attendants will also be available onsite, ready to help members refuel and to maintain site safety.
Members visiting the Fuel Station will be able to sign-up onsite, or at the temporary office located at 116 Siganto Drive, Helensvale. Those wishing to use the Fuel Station will need to be a Costco member.
Once open in June, the warehouse will stock thousands of brand-name products in groceries, confectionery, appliances, television and media, automotive supplies, toys, hardware, sporting goods, jewellery, watches, cameras, books, housewares, apparel, health and beauty aids, furniture, office supplies and office equipment. The Coomera location will also feature a variety of convenient speciality departments including a bakery, fresh meat and produce, deli, an Optical Department, Hearing Aid Centre, Tyre Centre, and Food Court.
The warehouse is set to create more than 250 full-time jobs once complete, the retail outlet is great news for the Gold Coast and a vote of confidence in the continued growth of the Coomera area. Mr Noone said, “Costco sees this region as dynamic and fast-growing and we believe that we can bring great value in relation to a wide range of products and services to the community”.
With over 800 sites around the world, and 14 other warehouse locations across the country, Mr Noone is confident that the people of the Gold Coast will benefit from the unique shopping experience they can expect from Costco.
“Costco provides its members with exclusive access to quality brand-name merchandise at substantially lower prices than typically found at conventional wholesale or retail stores. Signing up is easy, simply visit Costco.com.au. When you become a member, you’ll be able to take advantage of our online delivery service right away, and be able to shop at any warehouse around the world,” Mr Noone said.
