Three new large format Dan Murphy’s stores will open in time for Christmas trading, with a fourth store due to open in January 2024, bringing the total number of Dan Murphy’s stores nationally to 272.
In November, Victoria gained three new Dan Murphy’s stores in Spotswood, Epsom, and Rosebud, and Woolooware in Sydney’s south is on track to open in January 2024.
In addition to the new stores, six stores have re-launched following renewals in the last month. Dan Murphy’s in Albury, Ballina, Shepparton, Erina, Noarlunga and Burwood all offer the latest store features “to make customers’ shopping experience as seamless as possible”, including electronic shelf labels, enhanced pick-up options and internal and external refreshes.
Dan Murphy’s Managing Director Agi Pfeiffer-Smith says the brand new stores and renewals demonstrate its unwavering commitment to big box retailing and expanding the Dan Murphy’s brand.
“Dan Murphy’s success is built on large format stores and we continue to make targeted investments to tap into growing markets in strong population growth corridors”, Ms Pfeiffer-Smith said.
The four brand new stores will add more than 3000sqm of retail space to our network by January, and will bring the total number of new Dan Murphy’s stores opened over the course of the year to eight, in addition to 15 store renewals.
