Munchkin has released Munchkin Grass Fed, a baby formula made from 100 per cent New Zealand grass-fed milk.
The company claims that this is an Australian first and has a number of health benefits for babies and toddlers:
- Up to five times the amount of CLA.
- An ideal balance of fatty acids, vitamins, nutrients and protein, without the addition of hormones such as rBGH.
- Higher levels of vitamin A, vitamin E and beta-carotene.
“Most parents aren’t aware that formulas are typically made up of 65 per cent milk or milk by-products, and therefore the quality of the milk is of paramount importance,” Munchkin Regional Sales Manager Gary Hunter said.
“Keeping our New Zealand cows on strict grain-free diets of 100 per cent grass and forage ensures that only the best milk goes into our Grass Fed Formula. We’re excited to see how the discerning Aussie parent takes to it.”
Munchkin Grass Fed formula comprises Infant (RRP $35), Follow-on (RRP $35) and Toddler (RRP $30).
