Gold Coast shopping centre upgraded

Clarence Property has upgraded its Bell Central Shopping Centre at Mudgeeraba on the Gold Coast at a cost of $350,000 and says it has limited tenancies remaining for lease.

Clarence paid $13.5 million for the centre in August 2015 and began refurbishment works in September last year. This included repainting, a new roof, retiling and new glazing for the 3,682sqm retail precinct.

Bell Central is anchored by a 2,200sqm Coles supermarket, supported by BWS, Commonwealth Bank, Mortgage Choice, a medical centre and pharmacy, two food outlets and a hairdresser.

The remaining space available for lease totals 450sqm, and Clarence says this may suit a food retailer, complementing the existing BWS, Shabby Shack Cafe and Rice To Go stores.

Bell Central is in the centre of Mudgeeraba’s retail and restaurant village, minutes from the Robina CBD.

“Over the past couple of years a number of major retail centres across the Gold Coast have been upgraded, so our aim was to refurbish Bell Central for the benefit of our local customers, giving them a contemporary shopping experience in a convenient location,” Clarence Property Managing Director Peter Fahey said.
