Melbourne-based fine-food producer Hart & Soul has teamed up with trained nutritionist and blogger Melanie Lionello to create Hart & Soul Coconut Lentil Soup.
Ms Lionello, who claims to have 120,000 Instagram followers, says good food is all about a sense of place, community and authenticity, with the Coconut Lentil Soup inspired by the lentils and dahls of the south Indian diet.
“I get a lot from my travels – how they use ingredients, flavours,” she said.
Hart & Soul Coconut Lentil Soup uses kumara, lentils, capsicum and mung beans combined with a traditional mix of Indian spices.
Hart & Soul’s products come in cups (just add hot water), heat-and-serve pouches, and its new kit range, which provides the customer with a soup base. They are available in selected Woolworths and independent grocers.
