National property and construction firm Hindmarsh has been awarded the construction contract for the Freshwater Village Plaza mixed-use development on Sydney’s northern beaches.
Freshwater Village Plaza will comprise 24 flats over two levels and 1,500sqm of ground floor retail area, expected to be filled with a high-profile supermarket tenant. The site is being developed by QPS Developments, with work underway on the new landmark. Hindmarsh’s contract is valued at about $15.5 million.
“Freshwater Village Plaza will provide high-quality residences to one Sydney’s most picturesque suburbs, while the retail component is set to provide a significant boost to the local economy,” Hindmarsh NSW Construction Manager Damon Lazarus said.
Practical completion of Freshwater Village Plaza is scheduled for mid-2017.
