Jim Beam Apple is being promoted as a refreshing take on the brand’s 220-year family history, bringing together the taste of crisp, green apples and Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey.
The brand says the result is a perfect balance of apple and bourbon, with a light, juicy twist that is perfectly brought to life in its signature cocktail, the Jim Beam Apple Highball. The Apple Highball combines Jim Beam Apple and chilled soda over ice, with a few green apple slices for a year-round cocktail.
Jim Beam Apple, launched on August 1, is distributed through Coca-Cola Amatil (CCA) as part of an exclusive distribution agreement between CCA and Beam Suntory International.
The launch of Jim Beam Apple extends the brand’s existing flavoured whiskey portfolio, which already includes Jim Beam Honey. It’s the latest innovation from the brand that recently launched the new Jim Beam Citrus Highball ready-to-drink product, also tapping into the refreshment occasion.
Bottled at 30 per cent ABV, Jim Beam Apple is marketed as offering a balance of tart and sweet, with subtle oak undertones and a lingering apple finish with a touch of oak.
