With growth in Hunter Valley wines, the five-star James Halliday rated boutique winery Briar Ridge is welcomed into the Kollaras portfolio.
Kollaras Group Managing Director John Kollaras acknowledges it can be challenging for consumers to choose from the plethora of wines available.
“However, Briar Ridge makes the decision easier by offering a complete selection of easy-to-drink, quality wines from a reputable winery with over 40 national and international accolades,” he said.
Briar Ridge’s success is attributed to its history, substance, youthful enthusiasm, the passion of its team, and a foundation built on science. Owner and geologist John Davis says that, unlike any other vigneron, he core-drills all his vineyards and uses this information to plot his land. He says he identifies specific locations to establish vines that he thinks will create the best and unique parcels of wine.
Two special ranges are now available through Kollaras – the Winemaker’s Selection Series and the Stockhausen Signature Series.
