Mutti has brought back its Confessions of a Muttiholic series after a successful launch last year.
From BookTokās obsession with romantasy to Australiaās ever-growing appetite for podcasts and short-form storytelling, the brand says audiences are devouring stories like never before.
With Australiaās podcast audience now reaching 9.6 million monthly listeners and #BookTok surpassing 300 billion views globally, Mutti says it saw an opportunity to bring two things Australians are equally obsessed with together: saucy stories and Mutti tomatoes.
Confessions of a Muttiholic: Saucy Stories is promoted as a āfirst-of-its-kindā audio series transforming Mutti fan confessions into auto-fiction saucy short stories, written by award-winning author Emma Mugglestone and narrated by some of Australiaās most famous voices. Kicking off the series is Australian football player Sam Kerr.
āLast year, we saw thousands of Australians proudly confessing their love for Mutti via Confessions of a Muttiholic. From the bride who made Mutti the centrepiece of her shower, the woman who tattooed a Mutti can on her arm for eternity, to people bulk-buying Polpa and refusing to cook with anything else,ā says Mutti ANZ Marketing Director Samantha Filocamo.
āWhat became clear very quickly was that these werenāt just customers, they were passionate Muttiholics with genuinely funny, authentic and entertaining stories to tell. Mutti Saucy Stories is our way of celebrating that fandom again in a playful and culturally relevant way, while inviting even more Australians to join the community and confess their own obsession.
āWeāre turning those obsessions into something Australians can listen to, be entertained by, and obsess with all over again.ā
Australians are invited to submit their own Mutti obsession via Muttiās Instagram or TikTok for the chance to have their confession transformed into a future Mutti Saucy Story narrated by one of Australiaās favourite voices, while also winning a yearās supply of Mutti. Entries close 31 July.
