Frozen meals that can “strengthen the body’s immune system” are now available on supermarket shelves in an “Australian-first” innovation from WeightWatchers.
The Meals to Support Immunity range is the “first” frozen meal offering to earn Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) approval. The range features super nutrient Wellmune®, “a natural fibre scientifically proven to improve immune health by training the immune system to better detect and react to viruses, bacteria, and other disease-causing pathogens,” the company said.
Patties Foods, the manufacturer of WeightWatchers’ frozen ready meals, says its Meals to Support Immunity range is part of its commitment to boosting the health of Australians, complementing the world-renowned WeightWatchers Points® program.

It is the first time Wellmune® has been used in a frozen ready meals range in Australia, with WeightWatchers incorporating its scientifically proven, global Points® program into the new products to make nutritional science and weight loss simple for customers.
Each product in the Meals to Support Immunity range holds a 3.5-star Australian health rating, with more than 10 grams of protein and free of artificial colours and flavours.
The Meals to Support Immunity range offers two flavour variants: Italian Style Chicken Risotto with Greens, and Yellow Vegetable Curry with Brown Rice.
WeightWatchers’ new Meals to Support Immunity range (RRP AUD$7.50 per meal) is available at Coles supermarkets.
