Telstra is encouraging businesses around the country to nominate themselves and others for the 2018 Telstra Business Awards.
The Telstra Business Awards offer entrants, finalists and winners a range of benefits and opportunities including a comprehensive Business Benchmark Report with actionable advice and insights, as well as access to exclusive masterclasses and networking events.
Coming into its 26th year, the awards give Australia’s best small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and charities a chance to distinguish themselves from the pack as a leader in the field.
Vicki Brady, Telstra Business Awards Ambassador and Group Executive, Consumer and Small Business, says the Awards are part of Telstra’s commitment to SMBs.
“As a technology company and trusted advisor to SMBs, we’re proud to be able to continue empowering businesses by providing them with the tools they need to enable their future success, and we’re there to celebrate with them with these awards,” she said.
“From the personalised Business Benchmark Report and networking opportunities, to the national recognition finalists and winners receive, the Telstra Business Awards not only support innovation and inspiration in our business community, they provide businesses with the chance to unlock their potential.”
Dr Sebastian Rees, Co-founder and Director of GenWise Health, the 2017 Telstra Australian Business of the Year, urged Australians to nominate deserving local businesses while highlighting the award’s benefits.
“Winning the national award in 2017 has already had a significant impact on GenWise Health’s business,” he said. “We’ve had a surge in new enquiries from key stakeholders in our industry. It has been invaluable in raising our profile in the aged-care and health sectors.”
