NORA appoints new GM

Australia’s leading body for new retail, National Online Retailers Association (NORA), has appointed Corinne Franks to fill the new role of General Manager as it continues to expand its network and members.

Ms Franks is an experienced association leader, having been the GM of AIMIA (The Digital Industry Association of Australia) as well as GM conferences and events for Hannover Fairs Australia.

In her new role at NORA, she will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the industry body, bringing together member services, partnership opportunities and events.

NORA founder and Executive Director Paul Greenberg says Ms Franks’ background in the digital industry and her extensive events experience will be hugely valuable.

“This is a natural progression for NORA as we expand our network and member services,” he said. “We welcome Corinne aboard as we commence the next stage of our journey.”

With Australia’s online retail sector going from strength to strength, NORA has been undergoing expansion. It recently announced new chapters to give more attention to specific industry issues, through advocacy, ambassadorship and thought leadership.

The first chapter, Supply Chain & Logistics, is up and running, with Payments, Marketplaces, Security, Digital Marketing, Data and Insights set to follow.
