Peters Ice Cream has teamed up with Cadbury and Oreo to deliver a new take on a nostalgic cinema snack, the choc top.
With more Aussies trading the cinema for the couch and watching more than 10.5 hours of paid streaming video services per week (‘Deloitte Media & Entertainment Consumer Insights 2023’), Cadbury Choc Tops and Oreo Cookie Tops are set to be the “snack of the season”.
Cadbury Choc Tops are “generously loaded” with creamy vanilla from “top to tip”, folded with Cadbury’s milk chocolate, and finished with an “indulgent chocolatey swirl” throughout.
Oreo Cookie Tops boasts a “crunchy, chocolatey” cone filled with Oreo cookie pieces and vanilla, dipped in a coating made from crushed Oreo pieces.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to launch these extraordinary new creations in Australia and deliver an indulgent twist on a nostalgic frozen treat that’s perfect for movie lovers of all ages,” says Peters Ice Cream Senior Brand Manager Vanessa Mason.
“We know Australians are embracing home-based entertainment more than ever, so we wanted to launch Cadbury Choc Tops and Oreo Cookie Tops as the ultimate companions for your couch and favourite film. It’s all about bringing the full cinema experience into the comfort of your living room.”
Cadbury Choc Tops are now available at Coles, Woolworths, and independent grocery stores (RRP $11.50 for a four-pack). Oreo Cookie Tops are available exclusively at Woolworths (RRP $11.50 for a four-pack).
