Romeo’s Retail Group, promoted as having been at the forefront of sourcing locally made products and being a leader in local sustainable supply, is showcasing its local suppliers in a new media campaign.
“The Romeo family was the very first independent supermarket chain to introduce RSPCA sourced poultry into its meat departments, and also the first independent group to ban the sale of all caged eggs in all its stores back in 2014,” National Market Manager Alan Jones said.
“With this, the family and buying department have been committed to supplying its customers with as many locally sourced products from regions surrounding its stores across both South Australia and NSW.
“Hence the introduction of our newest campaign, ‘Romeo’s Local Love’, where we’ll now be able to showcase our local suppliers to our customers across all our mediums: social, web and print.
“This will help provide our customers with the knowledge of where the products are actually sourced from, and some of the amazing stories behind some of local brands, and how buying their products in our stores is helping to support the local business communities.”
